Little Promises has provided quality childcare in Parksville since 1995.  It is owned and operated by Lynn Moore, with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Vancouver Island University.  Lynn Moore has been working in the education field for the past 30 years.  Lynn is a 'Roots Empathy Instructor' since 2003.  She was a 'Mother Goose and Friends Facilitator', 2000 to 2006 and has served on the 'Building Learning Together Planning Committee' for many years.
 
'Roots of Empathy' (ROE), is an innovative in-class parenting program, which fosters the development of empathy in elementary school children. Empathy – the ability to understand another person’s feelings – helps children develop the skills to be the great parents of tomorrow, and reduces bullying, aggression and violence in our schools and in our communities.

'Mother Goose and Friends' is a playful, imaginative 8-10 week group experience for babies, young children and their parents. It is a well-recognized and respected educational program that returns to tradition by using rhymes, songs and storytelling as a base for enriching parent-child lives and relationships.
